The Forest: An Eco-friendly Specialty Coffee by Terres de Café

We're all thinking about how to drink coffee more responsibly. Are you taking action at your own level and would like to go even further? As well as opting for coffee beans, choose The Forest, the sustainable coffee from Terres de Café.

These organic coffee beans combine a number of advantages:

- Arabica coffee beans from agroforestry plantations

Sourced from the forests of Ethiopia and Brazil, the coffee beans that make up The Forest are all grown under forest, more specifically in the regions of Wallaga and Jimma (Ethiopia) and Minas Gerrais (Brazil).

- A 100% sustainable forest coffee

This coffee meets all the requirements of a 'sustainable' coffee (organic coffee, carbon-neutral roasting, etc.). What's more, the brand donates €1 per kilo purchased to the Fund for Sustainable Development and Optimisation of Quality in the Speciality Coffee Sector. Lastly, coffee was widely represented at the Change Now event in January and February 2020.

The Forest: A Unique Taste

The Forest's responsible coffee was recognised for its finesse at the Trophée Epicures 2021, winning the Epicure Prix d'or in the "World's finest gourmet coffee" category.

Like a rejuvenating stroll through the forest, this coffee is a simple pleasure. To the eye, it starts with a lovely, long-lasting crema, then stimulates your sense of smell with its chocolate notes and spices. On the palate, you'll find these flavours again, with a touch more praline and a creamy texture.

Ideal for espresso with your manual espresso machine, bean-to-cup coffee machine or moka pot.

Discover this 100% Arabica from agroforestry, sourced mainly from the Ethiopian coffee forests of the Wallaga and Jimma regions, and from South America.

Terres de Café presents The Forest, a 100% sustainable coffee, of which €1 will be donated to the Fund for Sustainable Development and Quality Optimisation in the Speciality Coffee Sector.

The Forest is a blend of forest coffees from Ethiopia with the required components for sustainable agriculture.

Coffee: a Family Passion!

The history of Terres de Café began in 2009, when the first shop was opened in the heart of the Marais district of Paris. The aim of the shop was to allow coffee lovers to (re)discover and appreciate the taste of coffee. Today, this same objective is still valid and pushes Terres de Café to surpass itself to offer quality coffees.

For Christophe Servell, its founder, coffee is a real family story. Indeed, his parents and grandparents were already roasting coffee, which gives him experience and know-how that he puts to good use in his company.

Terres de Café

Terres de Café

Terres de Café selects and roasts some of the most beautiful coffees in the world for the general public and professionals alike. They have a fine and contemporary vision of coffee, "à la française", based on their rich knowledge of coffee plantations, respect for the product, precision, freshness and taste.
Terres de Café considers coffee a sophisticated and high quality product, invoking intense pleasure with each cup.
Today, Terres de Café has 4 retail outlets in Paris and supplies top of the range coffee to 400 restaurants and businesses in the capital. It is now firmly rooted into the phenomenon of French "new wave coffee-roasters".
