El Salvador - Honey from the Volcano

Prepare yourself for a high quality speciality coffee! Produced by a "meilleur ouvrier de France", it could not be otherwise.

Vincent Ballot has roasted this coffee and brought out its full potential.

As soon as your brew is done, start focusing on the appetizing flavours it gives off: brown sugar and roasted almonds.

As an espresso, it has a distinctive taste that has earned a score of 85/100 from the Specialty Coffee Association. The notes of ripe cherries and cranberries are present in the mouth, so much so that you get the feeling that they have just been picked near the Volcano.

Production in the Heart of the Volcanic Range

This coffee bean is called Honey of the Volcano, as a nod to the Apaneca-Ilamatepec volcanic range in the Ahuachapan region where it is grown.

In the Nazareth and San Isidro plantations on the slopes of the volcano, Arabica varieties are grown at an altitude of 1550 metres. Nevertheless, in the face of the beauty of this place where fumaroles and geysers awaken, the key word is humility.

This coffee is the symbiosis between the work of several men, Andréas Giron the producer and Thomas his collaborator as well as the men and women working on the plantation. They have managed to reconcile resilience, passion and this indispensable humility. Method: Honey.
