Cast iron teapots are ideal for delicate teas such as green teas and white teas (as they must infuse at lower temperatures and for longer) because cast iron keeps the water at the right temperature throughout the infusion time.

Advice from our experts:

To keep your tea warm for several hours, warm up your teapot beforehand by rinsing it with boiling water. Do not put your cast iron teapot in the microwave or dishwasher!

Clean your teapot with a damp cloth when it is still hot and let it air dry without the lid on before storing it. Avoid any abrasive sponges that could damage your teapot.
