The fika, the coffee break from Sweden
In Sweden, fika, a word derived from the Swedish slang Kaffe* is a daily ritual rooted in the culture. It consists of a coffee, which is drunk with friends and family for more conviviality, at two key moments of the day: in the morning and in the middle of the afternoon. Accompanied by a pastry, the fika must be mysigt, cosy, comfortable. A real moment of relaxation to be accompanied, if you wish, by a subdued light and a soft blanket for an even more cosy atmosphere. Basically, the fika is much more than a coffee break!

A closer look at poor-over coffee
Pour-over coffee, a method favored by the Nordic countries, is a slow extraction method that allows you to rediscover coffee and extract all its subtleties and flavors. This method has been revived by brands such as Hario and Chemex. Conceived in 1941 by a chemist, this method allows to make a very mild coffee, close to an infusion. To make it, use a medium grind. The result will be a light-bodied coffee with an unequalled aromatic power.
