More About Our Medium Roast :

This coffee is perfect for espresso due to its medium roast makes it a balanced coffee as it gives it a generous body, powerful aromas and a round cup .

On the other hand, light-roasted coffees develop a distinct acidity and a more complex range of aromas in cup than medium-roasted coffees or dark-roasted coffees which develop a well-known bitter taste.

More About this Coffee :

This coffee comes from the Tarrazu region in the San José province, on the west coast of Costa Rica.
Its geolocation means it benefits from the Pacific Ocean winds which improve the taste quality of coffees.

"Finca Alfaro" is a blend of two botanical varieties: caturra and catuaí. The coffee cherries are harvested manually, carefully selected and treated using water. The treatment plant is an ecological unit. Processed water is recycled, pulping is used as a natural fertilizer.

The coffee trees grow in the shade at 1700 meters altitude. They enjoy good weather conditions, perfect for very high quality coffee cherries.

These conditions allow this coffee to obtain the grade "SHB", ie: " Strictly Hard Bean ".
