Presentation of Don Chalo coffee :
This Don Chalo micro-lot coffee owes its name to its producer, Mr. Gonzalo Batista, nicknamed "Don Chalo".

His farm is located in the Jurutungo region, in Renacimiento, Panama.

Don Chalo bought his farm about 45 years ago and at the beginning, he wanted to breed cattle since this area was not recognized for its coffee production (surprising since this coffee is a pure wonder! ).

To Don Chalo's surprise, however, coffee trees flourished on his farm and even produced coffee cherries. So he decided to devote a small part of his farm to producing coffee.

Here is Marco (2017 French Barista Champion and coffee roaster at Cafés Lugat), Lionel (head roaster at Cafés Lugat) visiting Mr 'Don Chalo' Batista in Panama.
