Presentation of the region
The Yirgacheffe appellation is located in the Gedeo area. Cafés Lugat works with Moplaco who collaborates with around 200 farmers. All of them work on small farms, a few hectares big in the Gedeo area.
In the village of Chelelektu, chief town of the district, Moplaco installed a dry processing plant , with African steel beds to optimize the quality of drying.
This plant is located near the Reku mountain. The coffee is grown at around 2000m.
